Immaculate Conception Triduum

Big picture
Join the Immaculate Conception community in the first annual triduum celebration of the Feast of the Immaculate Conception. Events are planned from Dec 6 through 8 See the above flyer (click on it to enlarge) or the parish website for more information. In the establishment and participation of this annual tradition, through Mary, we hope all parishioners, students, and families grow closer to Jesus and to one another.

We are looking for students in Junior High to volunteer to distribute invitations to parishioners after Masses on December 4 and December 5. We are asking for four school student volunteers per Mass. Mass times are Saturday at 4:00 p.m. and Sunday at 8:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. If your child would like to volunteer, please click here to sign up.

Thank you from HASA

A very BIG Thank You to all who donated ingredients and to those of you that donated your time to mix, roll, dip, and package approximately 4,000 Buckeyes!

The number of ingredients we received was truly AMAZING! Normally we mix until we run out of something. This year we had to turn the mixers off around 9:30 because of time. I really think we could have made buckeyes all night long! The remaining ingredients have been divided up into what we can use next year (as expiration dates allow), and what can be donated. Items donated have/will go to Student Council (peanut butter) for making sandwiches for the homeless and St. Vincent de Paul Society, as well as the extra butter to the school kitchen.

Student Spotlight

Maggie Johnson, Immaculate Conception alumni, was recently featured during Bishop Watterson High School's Discover Catholic Schools Week.

We are always looking to feature students, both past and present, in our student spotlight. If you know of a student's achievement outside of the school, please contact Rick Logue for inclusion in the Wednesday News.
