An intro to first aid
First Aid can mean the difference between a minor one and a major one. By taking steps immediately after the injury, you can drastically decrease the severity and risk of complications.
Tip #1: have a first aid kit
Always make sure you are in an area with a first aid it- and if not, bring one with you!
Tip #2: Know CPR
CPR, or cardiopulmonary resuscitation, saves many lives every year. By educating yourself in it and becoming certified, you will have the confidence to save someone's life.
Tip #3: Call 911
Even if you know CPR or are in an an area that isn't very accessible, always know when to call for help. The consequences for not calling are always than those for calling when not necessary.

The best way to prevent injury is to stay away from dangerous activities. Know your limits when it comes to what you can and can't do- this is one of the best ways to prevent an accident!
Let others know
Let others know about your medical conditions (if you have any) before spending long periods of time or bring in dangerous situations with them. If you have allergies or special conditions, wear a medical bracelet or necklace so you're not administered anything that will hurt you more
