Ygnacio Valley HS: Wolf Den News!
Monthly Family News Letter #6 - February 2023

From the Princpal
Happy February! I hope that everyone is staying safe, warm, and healthy during these cold winter months.
As we move forward into this month, I want to remind families we are already scheduling students for next year. Please review what courses your students should be taking and what electives they may wish to take. We also are excited that our Athletic teams are doing well. Our YV student athletes are representing the our school proudly and continue to show the community how amazing our YV family truly is. A big thank you to our coaches who put in countless hours in support of our athletic programs and mentoring our student athletes. Our winter rally is coming this Friday, Feb 10th. We are excited to celebrate YV pride. Lastly, there will be no school on February 17th & 20th in celebration of Presidents day.
Students First. Learning Always!
Go Wolves!

What is Pass2Class?
Pass2Class offers free bus passes to Contra Costa students at the beginning of the school year to encourage the use of bus transportation to and from school. Pass2Class reduces traffic congestion and air pollution by reducing the number of cars being driven to school. Up to two months of rides are being offered for the 2021/2022 school year to help students as they return to in-person learning.
Passes are available while supplies last.
