Mission Statement

More than competency in the basic skills of reading, writing, and math, it is this school’s mission to nurture in each child:

The habit of creative independent thinking, a positive self-image, an attitude of social cooperation and moral responsibility, pride in self, community, state, and country,
and
The ability to be a producer, not just a consumer,
of Knowledge.

“In this school, we reach for the stars.”

Safety Updates

Notification Letters

We've had a few calls regarding COVID notification emails/texts. When a person has been on campus that tests positive, we are required to notify everyone ("general notification"). When a student or staff member in a particular classroom tests positive, we send an additional "classroom notification" to that class. If a student or staff member has to quarantine, you will get an additional phone call from the principal or nurse to notify you of details. Please don't hesitate to give us a call or email if you have any questions about these notifications.

Class Parties

  • Due to COVID, we are unable to allow birthday treats to be sent in for class parties at this time.
  • Classroom teachers will be reaching out to families before class events or celebrations to share details about anything that is needed. This may require something to be sent in ahead of time (at least 72 hrs) that is individually wrapped. It will also be store bought. No homemade goods.
  • We will not be allowing visitors at this time for any event.
