CHE Update for 4/30
Coyote Staff Update
Welcome--staffing updates
Additionally, Mrs. Jennifer Baker is ending her stint as an instructional specialist. The school district is looking for a new IS to join Ms. Courtney Spence.
CAASPP Testing Continues!
As fourth grade and fifth grade prepares to test, I reflect on the year and know our students are ready to rock. Seven different classroom teachers and two resource teachers have put sweat and sometimes even tears into the work. They are ready. Let them know =)

2018-2019 Move Updates
Things to consider:
1. We will do our best to accommodate your desired room configurations.
2. We will move any filled file cabinets so you don't have to empty those.
3. The printer will stay and will make sure your new room has a printer.
4. We are looking at getting an additional dumpster for the last 2-3 weeks of school. This is a great opportunity to dump some of the "stuff" you no longer need.
Please let me know if you need to talk or process any part of the move.
Shout-Outs
Shout Out to Mrs. Chun-Remick for facilitating the entry of her students Dixon May Fair student project, including driving the project to Dixon this weekend. I've seen part of the presentation and some parts of the project in person and on Twitter. The CLASS created project far exceeds the limits of what many think is possible for second graders.
Shout Out to Mrs. Symanski and Mrs. Gill for getting the students out of the room and into the quad for Readers Theater. They did a fantastic job =)
Shout to Ms. James and Ms. Baker for facilitating our Battle of the Books. Our winning team, Positive Mental Attitude (PMA) is moving on to the District Battle on May 23rd here at CHE. Bravo!
Report Cards for 2018-2019!
Two teachers asked about whether progress report will also go completely electronic and the answer is yes. All grade reporting will be done through illuminate and parents can access that online. If they wish to have a printed copy, they will request it through the main office. We will need to think through best practice for walking through grades/report cards at conference time.
