The Coldest of All Biomes
The Tundra is the coldest biome with average temperatures of -10 to -20 degrees. It is also the youngest biome, it's only about 10,000 years old. It covers 20% of the earths surface.

The Tundra is all around the world.
- Alaska

- Russia
- Canada etc.
FUN FACTS ABOUT THE TUNDRA!
In the tundra a lot of furry animals! Animals like, Polar Bears, Arctic Fox and Grizzly Bears. The animals fur helps keeps them warm in the harsh winters.
During the summers in the tundra, the temperature never really gets over 50 degrees.
Although temperatures are very cold, some insects can survive and live in the tundra.
