Fall Band Concert - Thursday!

The Attea Fall Band Concert will be held on Thursday, November 13 at 7PM in the Flyer Cafe (our lunch room). All three bands and the Jazz Band will perform pieces which highlight the work we have done during first trimester. Please invite family and friends for a fun night of beautiful music.

You can always check the morning rehearsals on our website: calendar

Thanks to Mrs. Ciske, I finally figured out the link for all you iPad users to sync the band calendar to your iCal app! Here it is:

Happy Birthday Adolphe

November 6th was the 200th anniversary of Adolphe Sax's birthday. He invented many instruments including the saxophone.

Parents are invited to visit the band room.

Parents are encouraged to attend any rehearsal from 7:20-8:15 to see exactly how middle school band musicians learn and rehearse music. Even if your child is less than eager to practice at home for you, visitors will see how much our musicians love playing their instruments with a group. An audience makes it even more fun!
