D181 Assessment Calendar
Last week our Kindergarten students participated in KIDS. KIDS is an observational assessment tool used with all of our kindergarten students to measure problem-solving, self-regulation, social-emotional, literacy, and math development.
Our first-fifth grade students participate in the fall Fountas and Pinnell Benchmark Assessment, which you may have heard your child's teacher refer to as BAS. This is a reading benchmark assessment which is used to identify instructional reading levels and help inform our reading instruction and guided groups.
We are also gearing up for our Fall MAP assessment. Below you will find the Prospect's schedule of when this assessment will be administered.

Safety Drills
The safety and welfare of our students and staff are our highest priority at Prospect School. Throughout the year, we will practice safety drills to help our staff and students know what to do in an emergency. Monday, September 13th, we will have a fire drill, tornado drill and a lock down drill. Please talk with your child, if you deem it appropriate, about the drills. Our goal, while practicing important safety procedures, is to be sure all students feel safe. If you have any questions or need further information, please do not hesitate to reach out.
