Gyro Description

Gyros are a Greek dish of meat roasted on vertical split. It's usually served in Pita bread with tomatoes, onions and tzatziki sauce

Recipe

Gyros recipe:

*1 pound of ground lamb

*2 tablespoons of kosher salt

*1/2 freshly ground black pepper

*2 tablespoons of fresh oregano leaves

*1/2 yellow onion cut into 1-inch chunk

*1 clove garlic, sliced

*3 ounces slab bacon (or 5 slices of bacon), cut into 1/2-inch pieces
