Student Council
- Upcoming Student Council events include a food drive in November for the Agape House at St. Clement's Church, a hat and glove drive as well as a collection for Turning Point Shelter in the month of December.
- Ongoing throughout the school year is our BoxTops for Education which is now utilized through an app. Just download the app and scan your receipts and RMS receives money for every eligible item.
- Two RMS students will be joining students from the high school and Powell on November 26th to attend the annual Diversity Summit at the MISD. Students will participate in a variety of workshops to gain a better understanding of other cultures and how diversity impacts everyone's life.
- December 10th a representative from Turning Point Shelter in Macomb County will be speaking to our students about their mission and how we can help them provide for the most vulnerable women and children. This will kick off our collection of items for Turning Point as they prepare to support those in need during the holiday season and throughout the year. A Wish List from Turning Point will be attached to this newsletter. Please take a few minutes to see how you can help.
