A New Look at Literature
Mrs. Magrini's junior high students are reading their required literature a different way this year: through Kindle eBooks! Using the Kindle app on their iPads, students read the eBook just as they would a normal book. With eBooks, though, students are able to highlight, make notes, bookmark pages, and look up definitions of unfamiliar words.
Ford Model T
Sixth grade students get a close look at an original 1925 Model T car while learning facts and taking notes. Mr. Franck, social studies teacher, enjoys giving his students opportunities to see the past and learn from it.
Look out Henry Ford!
Sixth graders enjoy a short ride around the parking lot in the Model T with the car's owner, Dr. Connolly.

Thanks, Dr. Connolly, for this historical experience!
Kahoot!
Kahoot!
Mrs. Hughes' third grade students love using their iPads to review for an upcoming social studies test. They are using Kahoot, a game show-type response system, as an exciting way to review.
Preston K.
In Ms. Oswalt's foreign language class, students share presentations on various countries. Here, Preston is presenting on Cuba.

Calendar Time!
Kindergarten students in Mrs. Smith's class begin their day every morning with calendar time. So many skills are involved and taught during this time, from math to listening and speaking. The gallery below shows students leading their class in calendar activities, and the video is a chant they use to help learn the sounds of the alphabet.
