Bus Tags

Dear Parents of Pre-K and Kindergarten Students,

I hope that your child’s first days of school were memorable!

Henrico County Schools has a new way to support our Pre-K and Kindergarten students on the bus. Below is a one-page document that explains the new tag system and how to use the tags. To ensure tags are received by families, we are making them available for pick up in the office between 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. or you may request to have the tags sent home with your child. Select your choice using the electronic form below to indicate how you would like to receive the tags or you can complete a paper form that will be sent home next week .Once received, the big tag is to be tied to your child’s backpack. The other five tags have matching numbers to the big tag, and each parent/guardian or older sibling may receive one of the smaller tags.

Please read how to use the tags so that the bus driver can verify the right person to meet your child at the bus stop. Thank you for helping your Pre-K and/or Kindergarten child to attach the big tag to their backpack.

We will begin using the tags immediately. Please contact the school if you have any questions.
