ATTENDANCE POLICY
Elementary students must be in attendance at least 89% without valid excuse as provided by Oklahoma law of the total school year to be eligible for promotion to the next grade level.
It is imperative that your child attend school daily. Please schedule appointments, vacations, absences, etc. outside of school hours, during holiday breaks and on weekends. We appreciate your help in doing what is best for our students! ALL absences, excused or unexcused, still count towards attendance.
ATTENTION ALL BUS RIDERS
The Traversa Ride 360 mobile app provides secure access to student routing information, student scans as well as current bus location and planned bus paths.
Ride 360 provides quick access to your child’s routing information, which can include the bus stop, route, driver and bus number. Ride 360 can also utilize GPS data to give parents and guardians access to information on where their child’s school bus is, the planned bus path and what time it is expected to be at their scheduled bus stop.
Deer Creek will also be able to send notifications to subscribed users of Ride 360 to inform them of general information such as school closings and delays.
We encourage every parent who has a bus rider to review the instructions linked below. The instructions include important information regarding all of the functions of the app but also how to obtain some of your student's data that will be needed to register.
CARLINE PROCEDURE REMINDERS
- All carline arrival and dismissal procedures will remain the same as last year. Please click on the link below to review our carline procedures.
- Stay in your vehicle at all times.
- Keep your orange tag on your visor all the way through the line.
- You can pull into the east parking lot to buckle your child. This helps move the line quickly.
- No walking up. You must go through the car line.
- It will get faster if everyone will follow the procedure.
