Chapman Chargers Update
Guizzetti's Weekly Update
Week of 9/25/2017
Orange Squares are Everywhere!
When you enter Chapman you may notice that there are orange squares EVERYWHERE! What are they? They are a visual for parents and community members to see all the upgrades, improvements and new construction that would happen with the passing of the no tax increase bond proposal, November 7th. Absentee ballots are also available NOW! Please read the attached bond letter below for more information.
We are still working on our parking lots and building being as safe as possible for our students. Thank you for those that have shared suggestions. Just a reminder to never park your car in the loop and please do not move/remove the orange cones. This is unsafe and slows drop off and pick up down tremendously.
If you need to speak with your child's teacher it is procedure to go to the office to see if the teacher is available and SIGN in. If the teacher is not available we will work to schedule a meeting time for you. If you are visiting Chapman for ANY reason always stop into the office, sign in, and get a name tag or visitor's badge. It is very important that we know who is in the building at all times and why.
Your student's first school banking day is October 10th. Please mark your calendar and reiterate the importance of saving. Many families start an account in Kindergarten for their child, save throughout the years at Chapman and are able to pay for 5th grade camp with the funds.
Team Lentil will be here on Friday morning to promote kindness and acceptance with our students as part of our PBIS initiative. Lentil Bean is a french bulldog who was born with a severe cleft nose, lip and palate. Click this link for more information on Lentil and his team! http://www.mynameislentil.com/
