Parents it is our school policy that you need to keep your kiddos home if they vomit or have a fever. Students need to kept home for 24 hours without any medication before returning. Thank you!

Hello Parents,

I am the ESL Coordinator for LPS. As our ESL student population continues to grow, I am reaching out to parents of ESL student for a parent partnership opportunity. Per Texas state policy we are required to have a parent of an English Learner who participates in an ESL program serve on our school's Language Proficiency Assessment Committee (LPAC). The LPAC serves as the advocate for English learners to make certain they receive the appropriate services.

It would be ideal to have 3-4 parents on our LPAC. The commitment would involve reviewing some training slides and availability to attend meetings, during the school day, throughout the year.
