The EUP STEM Teacher Externship Program can help teachers answer this long-standing question!

EUP STEM teachers can partner with community businesses and organizations to conduct 1-5 day externships using the EUP STEM Region Teacher Externship Program. Educators will have the opportunity to work side-by-side with skilled industry professionals who can help add context to bring the classroom curriculum to life. Teacher externships provide educators with the experience to answer questions about real-world application, to prepare students for careers they may have in the future, and to improve educational experiences.

This program will also include:

- Teacher stipends of up to $100 per day for 5 days ($50 per day from the EUP STEM Region and up to $50 per day for participating districts). Please check with your administrator to verify the $50 match from your district.

- SCECHs will be included.
