Heroes of Whipple City
- Friday 5pm - The Parade - our "float" will be made up of decorated library carts and we'll be handing out (not throwing) books. If you'd like to decorate a cart, there are limited numbers so contact us soon. Check these out for inspiration: http://www.unshelved.com/pimpmybookcart
- Saturday 11:00 - 1:30 - Summer Reading Signup/ Ice Cream Social/Photo Booth
In addition to a traditional delicious Ice Cream Man sundae, kids who register for Summer Reading will get a free super hero photo shoot. Non Summer Readers will pay a modest fee for a picture. We'll need volunteers for setup, ice cream scooping, registration help, the photos and cleanup.
