A Message from the Principal
What a wonderful (almost) first week of school we have had this week! It has been exciting to see all those bright, shiny faces, smiling as they head down the halls of Hillside. My heart is full as I watch our kids, teachers, and staff connect with each other once again.
It is always apparent to me at this time of year that my purpose is most fulfilled when our school building is full of kids! I spend lots of time during the summer analyzing the previous year and making plans for the next one. When the kids come back, I realize, once again, the reason for the effort.
Thank you for entrusting us with your children. It is our mission, every day, to find effective and powerful ways to meet the needs of our students. Please let us know if you have a question or a need!

Mobile Clinic Available from One World
Westside is welcoming the One World Mobile Clinic to various locations in the district. The phone number families will call to schedule an appointment is (402) 880-4870. The mobile clinic is available to the staff of Westside Community Schools as well to students and their families.
Dates and locations for the mobile clinic are as follows:
Aug. 17 at Hillside
Aug. 24 at WHS
Aug. 31 at Westside Community Center (108 Street)
Lunch Visitors at Hillside-More Information
Hillside Families:
Lunch visitors will, again, be welcomed back into our building, starting in September. The week of September 5-9, you may join your student for lunch. Please stop in at the office to pay for your lunch (if you will be eating school lunch) and to obtain a sticker that indicates you are good to go!
