Teach your Staff How to Resolve Conflicts!
1. Let the person vent. Listen. Make eye contact. Listen.
2. Apologize, Apologize, Apologize. Apologize for what happened, how it made them feel, etc..
3. Don't blame others or blame others.
4. Work to resolve the conflict or problem.
Do Your Teachers Believe?
"The story behind the gift is even better," the mother shared. "As we were shopping, my son saw the sign and said, 'Mrs. K would really like that.' I asked him, 'why do you think so?'
He replied, 'Because she believes I can do something before I know that I can.'"
What a powerful reminder of the impact a teacher can have on the growth mindset of our students. Do your teachers believe? Do you believe?
