Burlingame Intermediate School
Friday, November 18, 2022 - Happy Thanksgiving!
Dear BIS Family & Friends,
The BIS Staff would like to wish you all a very Happy Thanksgiving Holiday! We are closed next week. School reopens on Monday, November 28th.
We know that this can be a very special time to spend with family and friends. We also know it can be hard for some. Please take care of yourself and your children during this time. Keeping to a regular routine is helpful for children, as well as letting them know ahead of time what is coming. During the holidays there are many events that are unusual than the rest of the year. Let your children know the plan for the week, the day, the evening so they can have time to adjust their expectations. It will help with emotional regulation during the week off of school.
We want to celebrate with our community and Celebrate BIS' National Blue Ribbon Award. SAVE the DATE, Friday, December 16th at 6:30pm at the Burlingame Community Center. It will be a Celebration Party and Dance for all student and their parents. We want the whole family to come! We are charging a small fee to cover the necessities, but don't let that deter you from coming. Just let one of us know you need a ticket to join in the fun! We will take care of your ticket. Order your Tickets Here.
May Thanksgiving and every day be filled with love, joy and happiness,
