The new threat at this time period is called communism. Communism is a social, political, and economic ideology and movement whose ultimate goal is the establishment of the communist society. Many people were scared because Americans valued the bill of rights and communists were taking that away from society.
Automobile I: The Life and Times of Henry Ford
Henry Ford's impacted society by making the Model T a car for the common man. He priced the car at $850, far lower than the normal amount of $2,000. By 1918, half of all the cars in America were Model T's. Ford's company was the largest automobile maker in the world.
How did the Automobile change society?
The Automobile changed society by making it possible to travel many miles at a time. Before, you had to live in the city due to your job but now you can live in the suburbs with your family. Also it gave a lot more people privacy. Especially the teenagers going on dates.
