Welcome to Beautycounter
I am so excited you have joined this mission with me!
Yay! I am so excited you joined the Beautycounter Tribe.
It is pretty amazing and I know you are going to love it! You are now a small business owner, how exciting!!
We are on Laura Stenovec’s downline after Laura it’s my friends based in M; Jen Shultz, Michelle Skinner, and Ayesha Dawley (my girlfriend who I signed up with) then myself and now You! Ayesha does a great job sending communicating out to our team so I try not to double up on sending out the same stuff. But let me know if you have questions or it does not make sense!
Frist off, let me know how the best way to reach out to you is…FB messenger, email, text etc…?
Second, when is the best time of the day for you to find 10-15 minutes to devote to Beautycounter? In the morning before every one wakes up, day hours, after dinner or bedtime, in the evening before you hit the hay? This will help you when we you think about time blocking for Beautycounter and what you want to devote to sharing/growing your Beautycounter business/clientele!
Signing Up:
1) You had the option to order products when you signed up – these are going to be your little employees. These will be what you use for your Face Kits, sampling etc...Go through your Investment tracker (this was included in your file) and work out a plan to recoup your costs and figure out how much time you want to put into your biz! If you need help reach out to your mentor.
2) Start working on your 50- 100 person list. This is all the people that you may not even be thinking about? This list is something that you will refer too all year and help when we feel stuck or not able to think of other people we would like to share Beautycounter with! I still refer to this list after years in the biz:)
3) Now look at your calendar and lets find two dates for two launch socials for you to introduce BC to your family and friends and let’s get it booked on the calendar!
After you have SIgned Up:
1) Welcome to Beautycounter smore (smore is a service some of us use to email newsletters, I use it too) – This is from our Director Laura in CO she is our furthest upline just under Gina Murphy our Sales Director and Gregg: https://www.smore.com/1qg59
2) Training Modules, marketing jpgs etc - Behind the Counter is where we store everything. Take a bit to play around with it on the very top of your home page click the tab that says training, then Business, then start on that page by watching the video.
3) Training Calls – they are listed in the Welcome Smore and are always recorded if you can’t listen to them live!
4) Get your personal website (PWS) set-up (there is a link on the home page Behind the Counter) – with your information and add a photo of yourself! That is important, I got a new client that did a search by zipcode and she picked me because of my picture and my name (her name was Jennifer tooJ).
5) Time Blocking – this is something that is great to keep yourself accountable for the time you are putting into the biz and time for family or other jobs you might have so you don’t feel like you are working all the time, that is not what we want!
4) Facebook Groups - We will add you to these and this is the primary way that all us consultants communicate with each other! Also if someone from Beautycounter friends you (ie: Ayesha from our team, etc… accept them, its great to follow others and see what they are doing on social media…you might get a few of those after you are officially welcomed on FB so be prepared) We kinda have a unwritten rule that we can share anything from our teammates and others, you can message then for permission or if you slightly tweak it, we are all fine with sharing so we don’t all have to reinvent the wheel!
Additional Items:
1) Setting up your email signature – it is Behind the Counter on how to set that up. Also this is the point to ask if you want to use the email you registered with or if you want to set up a separate Beautcounter account such as Gmail or something (Ie:
FirstLastnameBC@gmail)
2) Start Counting flyer – is located Behind the Counter (BTC). This was also included in your file. This shows incentives that Corporate has for us when we start. I always go for incentive they offer, it only helps grow your business!
3) Business Aids – once you get your kit we can talk about this further. Some are included in the BeSpoke Shop on the Home page of BTC. ORDER Your Business Cards here so that you can get those right away. We also have other materials available (i.e. Look Books, Hostest Brochures, TriFolds, Never List Cards, Sample Jars, etc... that you can order directly when placing a personal order.
4) Goal Tracker document – this is found behind the counter and I find it helpful when I start each month to have my goals laid out for meJ They will go through it in the training modules.
5) Tools –is located behind the counter and where you can find marketing materials, invite templates and other documents.
6) Training - This is were we have online training moduals that will help you get started every step of the way. Go to Training and Getting Started and work your way through Consultant.
7) Smore.com - is a free newletter service that I use and many others it allows you under the free verson to send out one a month and is great way to share Beautycounter with others via email! Check it out and see what you think? Here is a sample of one I did recently when we launched Mascara: https://www.smore.com/kkt2a-at-long-lash
This was my 1st smore when I launched/started November 2014: https://www.smore.com/vrrng-introducing-beautycountered
an
8) Download Voxer App – this is another way lots of us communicate and for quick easy help etc…if you’re interested!
I know that is a lot & overwhelming but it is something to start with to start poking around on Behind the Counter! Please ask any and all questions!!!
Here we go!!!
