New Beginnings

New beginnings always start with change.

In this month's New Beginnings themed Monthl(e):

A New Canvas Interface * Civil Rights Update on Accessibility * Train-Up @UCCOnline * New in Canvas * Badge of the Month * Quote Challenge/Comments

A New Canvas Interface

The new Canvas User Interface (UI) is an updated interface structure enhanced by a responsive user experience for the Dashboard and Global Navigation menu. The Course Navigation menu also collapses on smaller screens, allowing for a more content-focused and responsive layout.

It will launch at UCC on June 15th after finals are done. Are you curious what your course will look like? It is recommended you do a preview before it launches. Here are some options below:

Civil Rights Update on Accessibility

25% of UCC employees are trained-up in Accessibility. The target date for campus completion is May 31st. All of Enrollment Services, Financial Aid and the Finance departments have completed their training!

What is holding you up? Nudge your co-workers, lead your department by participating in one of the following ways:

  • Attend the May 12th @2 pm face-to-face session (1.5 hours)
  • Contact us for your Canvas login to complete it online (1-2 hours)
  • Schedule a private session with Danielle Haskett for you and your colleagues (440-7655)

WE can do this!
