Here are some basic facts of our dwellings!
-These dwellings have flat roofs that can be used for an extra room
-More luxurious houses have a courtyard. Your children can play here and you can relax here.

Toys
- We have terracotta carts and toy animals
- We have monkeys and squirrels that slide down a rope
- We have model cows that waggle their tale on a string
Clothing
- We have many varieties, but they are all made of cotton, being the first who grew it.
- Women can wear one very long piece of cloth called 'Sari'
- Men can wear long pieces of cloth called 'Dhoti'
Food
- Wheat is used for flat bread called 'Chapatti'
- We also have sugar cane, which grows naturally here.
- We mainly eat wheat, rice, chickpeas, lentils, and occasionally, cows, pigs, sheep, goats, and chicken. Yum!
Mohenjo-Daro Nourishment
Most of the food here is vegetarian, but meat is still valued. You have a choice of wheat, rice, chickpeas, lentils, beef, pork, sheep, goats and chicken.
