How to get started
1. Download a Green Screen app
Welcome! To get started, you will need to use a site or app that will allow for green screen. I LOVE Green Screen by DoInk. It is totally worth $2.99. But, it is only available on iPhones or iPads. Check out this guide to get your started.
2. Find a green backdrop
We have two green screen curtains at the CCSD District Library. You can check them out any time. Or, check out these alternatives :
- Dollar Store plastic green tablecloths
- Ikea Green Shower curtain
- Green File folders from Staples
- Pizza boxes painted green
- Green Trifolds from Michaels
- Green fabric from Walmart, Joann Fabric Store
3. Save desired background to your Camera Roll
Find copyright friendly images on sites like:
4. Record subject matter in front of green screen
... people
... puppets
... action figures or toys
Use Camera app on iOS device
5. Assemble your layers in Green Screen app
6. Save video and share with an audience!
- Upload and share within Google Drive
- Or, you can share to other sites such as: Seesaw, FlipGrid, or Schoology!
- Schoology would be neat within a Media Album or Discussion.
