Sharing Video in Google Meet--share your screen AND see your students!
- present using multiple monitors-if you have the capability to do that (See your students on one monitor and have your screen on another monitor.)
- login to Meet a second time with a different device
- Have one device and one monitor? Overlay your presentation window with your Meet window.
And, here's another great article to help with sharing with your students...this time learn various ways to share video in Classroom.
Check out Screencastify Submit!!
And, I created a set of instructions for students, including how to access Screencastify Unlimited here. I also added this page to the Student Tech Help page on the MRHS Links page.
Apply for Canva for Education
If you don't know Canva, it's a design website for images, posters, infographics, social media posts, and more. Health classes have used it for digital posters, and English classes have used it in a variety of ways. Here's an example from Health. It's nice because lots of free to use images and illustrations are included, or you can upload your own.
Submit a Book Review--only MRHS peeps can see them!
Hey, Mustangs! Read any good books lately or have a favorite that everyone should read? Submit a book review to Flipgrid here: https://flipgrid.com/e9db6588, or scan the QR code in your Flipgrid app. Help someone find their next favorite! Need help with Flipgrid? Shoot Mrs. LaRue an email, or she can video chat w/you, too. This would be a cool activity to do with students...how great would it be to have a whole page of reveiws from students and staff in one place? My example is below, but the rest won't be on YouTube...just Flipgrid (shared on the library website for all to see).
