Important Dates
- Tutoring will continue to be on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays until 4:15. Tutoring is for 3rd - 6th-grade students only. Currently, there is no more room for additional students in tutoring, so anyone added will be put on a waiting list.
- Duke Energy Science Night will be Tuesday, April 2nd from 6:00 - 8:00 in the school gym.
- Spring & Class Pictures will be taken Thursday, April 4th. Class pictures must be prepaid for ($10), but a proof will be sent home of individual pictures with the option of purchasing them. All necessary picture paperwork was sent home last week.
- The 3rd Nine Weeks will end Friday, April 5th.
- Reading and Math Benchmarks will begin April 4th - 12th for grades 3-6.
- Report cards will go home on Friday, April 12th.
- Kindergarten Registration is scheduled for Tuesday, April 16th. If you know anyone that has a child that will be age 5 before August 31st, please make sure they register that child for kindergarten.
- There will be a Hispanic Heritage Program on Thursday, April 18th.
- There will be no school on Friday, April 19th due to an Optional Teacher Workday.
- Spring Break will be Monday, April 22nd - Friday, April 26th. Take this time to become rested and renewed for the last few weeks of school.
PSRC Superintendent Choice Award Winner
Abigail Ariza Secundino was recently presented with the PSRC Superintendent Choice Award. She is a 4th-grade student in Ms. Cassandra's Class. Ms. Tonya and Mr. Antonio went to show their support to her for receiving this award.
Thanks Ms. April for our Teacher Supplies!
Ms. April won a grant for Union Chapel Elementary School. The teachers received tape, glue, and cutting supplies.
