- We are currently in the process of creating and scheduling field trips for the year for all classes.
- Board Members will be conducting the Academy Open House on October 23rd at Travis High School. Look for a volunteer signup shortly.
- Academy T-Shirts order forms will be given out this week for purchase. This shirt is required for all field trips and volunteering events. See the picture below.
- Academy Spirit Shirt order forms will be given out this week for purchase as well. This shirt is not required, but would be a great way to show our spirit on Fridays. See the picture below.

Raymond P. was accepted into the University of Houston Business school and has decided to look no further. Raymond will either study Accounting or Logistics. He will be start attending in the fall of 2019!

Volunteer Opportunity: Pumpkin Patch Every Weekend in October
Pumpkin Patch 2018 Volunteer Sign Up
Holy Cross Episcopal Church is in need of volunteers to help with their pumpkin patch this year. They need volunteers for the event itself which runs every Saturday and Sunday in October. You will need to go to the pumpkin patch website: http://www.hcpumpkinpatch.com/ to sign up for a volunteer spot. Please remeber to wear your Academy t-shirt or a THS t-shirt if you haven't gotten an Academy shirt yet and remember no cell phone use while volunteering. The proceeds from the Pumpkin Patch help to benefit various community outreach projects for those in need in Ft. Bend County and surrounding areas.

Bel Inizio needs 10 volunteers to come out and help direct biker as the do the Try Andy Tri from 6:00 am to 10:00 am. Please meet at the First Colony Aquatic Center, 4350 Austin Parkway, Sugar Land, TX 77479, by 6:15 am by the volunteer table to be transported to volunteer location. You will be with the Bel Inizio group so make sure you meet Justena (832-334-1459)and Theresa(both of them will have Bel Inizio shirts on).

Volunteer Opportunity: Houston Striders Half Marathon and 5K
Bel Inizio needs 20 volunteers to come out and pass out water and medals to runners at the Houston Striders Half Marathon and 10K from 6:00 am to 10:30 am. Meet at the volunteer table in Sam Houston Park just west of Bagby on Lamar. You will be there with the Bel Inizio group so make sure you meet Justena(832-334-1459). (she will be wearing a Bel Inizio shirt) Park at Fonde Recreation Center, 110 Sabine.

Houston Marathon Volunteer and Enrichment Opportunity
We would like to welcome IBM Booster Club to our 2019 Volunteer Group Bonus Program. Please read the attached VGB Acceptance document, as it includes FAQs, important dates and other relevant information.
