The Wellness Center
New School Based Psychotherapist from Vista Community Clinic
Hello Panther Students,
My name is Recheal Stewart-Brown (pronounced Ri-Shell), and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who will be working out of Vista High School this year. I am a therapist, a mom, and a former college and Semi-Pro Basketball player. I LOVE tennis shoes, boots, Thai food, and the color purple.
Now that you know a little about me, I would like an opportunity to meet you. I have something AMAZING I would like to offer to all of you: The “CBT PANTHER EXPERIENCE” (CBT = Cognitive Behavioral Therapy)
FIRST, I have some QUESTIONS for YOU.....
1. Are you having a difficult time focusing on school and homework?
2. Do you feel isolated, lonely, bored, anxious, restless, worried or a little blue?
3. Do you wish you could, be around friends and have meaningful/fun interactions?
4. Do you wish you could STOP FEELING the FUNK???
I want to HELP… come to my group where we gather with 4-5 other students utilizing COVID-19 Safety Guidelines (all interactions will comply with District COVID-19 protocols). You will gain amazing skills to help with your unwanted feelings while making new friends. It is an opportunity to get out of the house and do something self-empowering and fun!!
Interested Panthers do the following:
1. Email me and let me know – lasoonia.r.stewart-brown@vcc.org
2. Call VHS front office and tell them you are interested in: The CBT Panther Experience - 760-726-5611.
3. Schedule a meeting to come see me at my office in room D-1
I can’t wait to meet you all!
