Principal's Message
Social Media gets a bad rap and at times it deserves it... But I don't think it is the app but the user who instigates the issues. Social media's true purpose should be for it to be used for good! Twitter is an amazing tool to spread news and provide compliments. College coaches recruit their athletes via Twitter. High Schools and Colleges use social media to share information with their students, alumni, and fans. With today being "National Compliment Day" I just wanted to compliment Twitter. I have pictured above some recent "tweets" that share the good news of Conroe High!
We had a great week here at CHS9! Thank you all for sending us your students prepared to work and learn everyday! This is our purpose and we appreciate the opportunity you provide us to work with you and your children.
Just as a reminder this coming week will be the last week to make up any missed fall semester exams. Your child just has to report to the library after school on Monday, Tuesday, or Thursday. Tutorials are also offered on those same days. The opportunity is there and everyone is welcomed in!
It is my honor being your child's 9th Grade principal! If you ever have any questions or concerns please always feel free to reach out to me.

A word from our Clinic...
With flu season arriving, here are some good practices to keep our students healthy, and avoid spreading illness to other students and their families.
- If your child is running a temperature of 100° or greater, or has obvious symptoms like body aches or chills, he or she needs to remain out of school.
- Even if a student’s temperature can be lowered to below 100° with a fever-reducing medication such as Ibuprofen or Tylenol, the student still needs to stay home.
- A student may return to school when fever-free for 24 hours without a fever-reducing medication.
- Encourage your child to use good hand washing techniques, wash often, and avoid touching his or her face.
Notifying the school nurse is extremely helpful, so please let me know if your child tests positive for the flu. As a student recovers from the flu and returns to school, the nurse will be aware and better able to observe the student for symptoms which may not be resolved.
TEACH YOUR CHILDREN HOW TO COUGH THE RIGHT WAY!! Thank you for helping us keep everyone as well as possible!
