Spelling, Math Facts, Homework, Oh My!!
The third graders will begin multiplication on Monday, September 8th! Please practice these facts with your child nightly to assist in fluency! We are using a new math series called Expressions. Some of the concepts and procedures will be taught differently than you have seen before. The third grade teachers are committed to making this transition as seamless as possible. If you or your child have any questions or concerns, please contact us right away!
It is expected that all third graders read for 15 to 30 minutes nightly. This can be done as a family read aloud, reading with a sibling or parent, or silent reading before bed.
