Through Deep Sea Discovery, kids will grasp that God is with them wherever they go! Hands-on service projects, games, and sea science will help kids experience a VBS adventure like no other, and they’ll leave each day ready to set sail to serve others and tell God’s story.VBS begins at 5:30 nightly with a Snack Supper and ends at 8 pm. Open to children entering 4k-5th grade. WE ALSO NEED VOLUNTEERS.

I urge you to go ahead and register your child for camp. You can do so by paying a $50 non-refundable deposit. You can register by paper or on-line paying with a credit card (yes, on-line is up and working). Feel free to give your paper application and $50 non-refundable deposit to me. I will mail applications I receive. Please be advised if you pay by credit card there is a 4.5% processing fee. For on-line registration or just to see what Sumatanga is about go to www.Sumatanga.org.
Children that have completed kindergarten-second grade go to day camp Monday, June 13th -Friday, June 17th. The church will provide transportation to and from each day. Typically we take about 35 children to/from daily for an awesome experience. Friends are welcome to join us. Each year, the church budgets for its families to receive funds to help pay for Sumatanga. Day campers receive $50 towards their cost of camp ($125). Scholarships are available.
Overnight camp is for those children that have completed third-fifth grade. Parents will take their children to camp on Sunday, June 12th and pick them up on Friday, June 17th. Each year, the church budgets for its families to receive funds to help pay for Sumatanga. Overnight campers receive $150 towards their cost of camp; a tiered fee schedule is attached with the application. The tier payment schedule allows parents to choose what works best for them by paying the week camp fee ranging from $370 per camper to $450. Children get the same experience no matter which option the parent chooses. For more information or questions about the fee please email Jamie at Sumatanga, registrar@sumatanga.org. Scholarships are available.
