In your class and school:
Hi families!
What a great week of school! Busy but super good! We played a math game called Contig in math helping us with mastered math facts as well as a game board with strategy. If you think you might want to play, let me know and I will send all the pieces for you to play it together! This week we also had the growing up talk. I can't speak to the boys group, but I know the girls group listened attentively, but they did not have many questions. I would just maybe ask your child how things went and if your student has any questions or if questions do come up, how they can get them answered. I will be absent Monday morning for district math training. This is my first time gone and I am nervous how my students will be for a sub. If you could remind them on Monday morning or Sunday night about treating all adults with dignity and respect that would be appreciated!
Don't forget about the FUN FAIR tonight! It is from 5:30-8:30pm and we have a crazy amount of baskets for the silent auction! WE also have games and food!! I will be in the office counting money all night since I am treasurer, but you can wave at me :)
FLU shot clinic is coming to North Bend...see below for information!
PLP's are almost here! October 18-19-20. If you do not remember your day or time, just email me and I can let you know.

Science- I can describe an object using various observation skills. I can tell is something has dissolved. I am working on the difference between a solute and solvent in a given solution. I am starting to use words like dilute and concentrate when talking about a mixture.
