Greek architecture is known for its columns. There are three types of columns. Doric, Ionic, and Corinthian. Other types of Greek art include pottery, sculptures, and painting. Every city-state had a temple that was dedicated to a specific god. They went there to worship and make sacrifices. Some leaders like Pericles and Alexander The Great spread the Greed Architecture thought Europe.

We see Greek influence in architecture in greed building today. White house, Capital building, Supreme court, and the Lincoln Memorial all have columns that show Greek influence.


Had and direct government. Democracy where every one could voice their opinion on the government. Council was chosen a lottery and u had to be 18 to vote. All male men were expected to vote. If you were a slave you couldn't be council.

1 year, that is how long you were able to be council. Leaders were chosen by a hat.


You had to be male to play in the sports. Women could spectate, but they had to be unmarried. These are the different kinds of sports they had Javelin, discus, Pentax, wrestling, running, chariot races, racing, boxing.

Men, gods, and unmarried women could watch. Zeus wanted to be impressed with the gods, and after the game they honored the gods.

Today in the sports we have today would be Olympics, we have many of the sports, boxing, wrestling, and discus.


The characters in the stories explained natural occurrences. These are some mythological characters Hercules, Odysseus, Persians, Achilles, Zeus, Hera, Athena, Hermes. Homer, Aesop.

Where they would be judged is underground in the underworld where they would be judged for what they did, or what they wanted. In the Greek world mythology had a word in it which makes mythology, myth ology myth is what i'm trying to say, is a myth is just some story that is made up.


Philosophy is sacred, plates, Aristotle, enclave, phylum. Archaeologist invented, disliked other people. Doctors today use the Hippocratic oath. The Hippocratic Oath is a type of medicine that doctors use today. The doctors who use the Hippocratic oath today try to save as many lives as possible.

We still use the Hippocratic oath, was made by Doctors who would happen to be Eucleus
