Integrated Learning
Throughout the month of November, we will be learning about Thanksgiving. We will talk about how the Pilgrims sailed on the Mayflower to North America and met the Native Americans. We will explore the clothes, type of homes, food, chores, and more that characterize the Pilgrims and Native Americans. The students will learn how they helped each other and why we celebrate Thanksgiving. We will talk about things that we are thankful for. Some books we will be reading are I Know an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Pie and Thanksgiving is for Giving.
