Hearts Aflame For the Love of Christ

Moving Along with Mrs. Maddox

Dear Friends in Christ,

This year our school theme is "Hearts Aflame For the Love of Christ." St. Catherine of Siena said, "Be who God meant for you to be and you will set the world on fire." What an awesome message for all of us to hear. At St. Joseph, our primary focus is not just helping students expand their minds in reading, math, and science, but we want each child to know the truth of the Gospel. We want to help students understand their life has purposely been authored by God to do incredible things. Our Mission is to help students Live, Learn, and Model Christ every day. Congratulations to Mrs. O'Toole and Mrs. Lorang, our new STREAM Academy is a huge hit!!! Each day I stop by our MakerSpace I get more and more excited about the creativity of our kids all inspired by our very own teachers.

Enrollment for the 2020-2021 school year for all new families is officially open!!! If you know of a family interested in attending St. Joseph, please encourage them to contact me (jmaddox@stjoeshawnee.org) to schedule a tour and see our amazing teachers and students in action. On March 3rd, 2020 we will offer a "Take A Look Tuesday". Interested families can come tour our building, hear from other parents, and I will be available to answer questions. We have such an enthusiastic fun community, don't forget to share news about our fantastic school with other families.

Thank you for all you do for our faculty, the BBQ today was a hit, and so yummy! St. Joe parents are the best!!!

With a Grateful Heart,

Jodie Maddox, Principal
