NST - New Staff Training in Ave Maria, FL
Training this summer was a great time for personal and spiritual growth. I had a blast in Ave Maria, FL with the other 400+ missionaries I will be working with this year. It awesome to see so many people willing to say yes to God's call and to see their excitement for the upcoming year. Thanks for all of your prayers and support while I was there!
During training, we attended classes on topics such as salvation history, scriptural and moral apologetics, strategies for Bible studies and Gospel presentations, character formation, and prayer. The teachers were great, and I am excited to put what I learned in training into practice on campus.

Silent Retreat, Team Time, and More
During the third weekend of training, I was able to go on a 3-day silent retreat. We went through part of the spiritual exercises developed by St. Ignatius of Loyola. We had 9 meditations to pray through, an opportunity to take part in spiritual direction, time for prayer, mass, confession, and a chance to be silent and listen to what God wanted us to hear. This was a great time for me to be silent, disconnect from daily distractions, and to just listen. I gained so much from the retreat, and I am looking forward to the next chance I have to attend another!
As I mentioned earlier, I will be going to Georgia Southern University in August. I am so excited about my team and about what God has in store for us this year. We had several days during summer training to get to know our teammates and their stories, and we had the chance to go on some adventures around Naples, such as heading to the zoo. I am pumped to work with Greg, Edgar, and Katie next month! Please be sure to keep us, the students, and our campus in your prayers!

During my free time at training, I was able to go to the beach, hang out with missionaries from other regions, and just spend time relaxing. I had so much fun meeting everyone, taking part in volleyball competitions, finding my way around Florida, and learning about what this next year will entail.
Sunset at Ave Maria!
College of Mary Magdalene- 2nd place in volleyball!
Beach time with Steph, Lindsey, and Katie!
Thanks Again!
Thanks again for your prayers and support in this mission with FOCUS! Without you, I would not be able to go to campus and carry out the work God has called me to do. Thanks for investing in these students, and thanks for your commitment to fulfilling the Great Commission!
