Cade McGurk and Cole Calabro
Scavenger hunt P1
Biotic
here we have a piture of Cole, cole is living and thus makes him Biotic
Abiotic
These stairs were never living and this makes them abiotic
autotroph
The plants inside the fish tank are making their own food to survive, this makes them autotrophs because of this function
Heterotroph
here we have a [icture of rohan, rohan is looking for food and cannot make his own food and must get his food from another source, making him a heterotroph
Current Weather
this morning it is very rainy and cloudy
Carbon cycle
the car emits carbon and gas back into the atmosphere, the plants use the co2 for photosynthesis, Cole puts co2 in our atmosphere by using cellular res;iration, and the soil uses decomposition and puts co2 in our atmosphere
Water Cycle
Water Cycle
The water cycle is all in this picture
1. It is preciptating (raining)
2. the rain water evaporates into the clouds where it condensates
3. it then repeats and starts to rain again
NITROGEN CYCLE
the algae can decompose which shoots straight in the cycle to add to the soil bacteria, which then nitrfiyes with the decomposition, which then goes into the air in which we breathe.
phosporus cycle
the rock is formed through weathered sediments which are formed from underground, making this rock all made up of sediments
mutualism
mutualism is where two organisms both benefit from each other. Rohan and Karthikeyan are working together, making them both getting their job done
commensalism
commensalism is where one organism benefits and one is unaffected, in this case the moss on the wood has a place to grow while the wood is neither benefitted nor damaged
parasitism
parasitism is where one organism is damaged and the other is benefitted. in this picture the wooden chair is being pressed on by cole, putting it in danger as cole could lean back and fall, which could break the chair, and cole is benefitted because he doesnt need to stand up and risk tiring his muscles
food chain
the leave fall from the trees, the leaves are then consumed by tiny bugs, the tiny bugs are also consumed by worms trying to eat some of the small scraps around leaves. the worms are then consumed by birds. which are then decomposed by fungi and algae
