Be Kind
Student council is holding a kindness month in February. Each day has a kindness challenge for students to do at school or at home. Today's challenge is for students to do something kind at home without being asked (like clean their room). Ask your students about the challenge each day in February!
Kids Heart Challenge
February is American Heart Month and Liholiho is participating in the American Heart Association's Kids Heart Challenge. Our challenge will kick off on February 15, 2023. Look for more information next week!
Science Symposium for Girls
Sacred Hearts Academy is hosting a free science symposium for girls in grades five through nine on Saturday, February 25, 2023. From the symposium’s organizers:
Science Symposium for Girls is designed for students in grades five to nine. Students will have the opportunity to participate in two STEAM based workshops choosing from 20 exciting options, while their parents attend a Parents Only session presented by our keynote speaker, Suzanne Vares-Lum, President of East West Center and several other experts from the community. Besides offering workshops that are STEM based, we are adding ARTS based workshops at this year’s event.
The Science Symposium for Girls is Free of charge for all attendees. Sessions fill very quickly; so, we encourage your students to register online or send in your registration form as soon as possible!
