Greater Kansas City School Counselor Association
2020-2021: A Year to Learn
It's back to school time! All the nerves are hitting, and it may feel different this round. As school counselors, we may need to remind ourselves that we are prepared. We have a "box of tricks," and we are teaching others coping strategies on a daily basis. With a little self care (practicing what we preach), we'll successfully and positively assist students as they transition--no matter how it looks in your district whether virtual, in-person, or hybrid. With heightened awareness and responsibility of accepting all students, especially those from diverse backgrounds, you got this! You are enough.
We love our GKCSCA members, and we are excited you are a part of our team.
