Mr. Anderson - Language Arts

Students will be writing an essay based on their experience at Middle School career day, due November 24th. Note that due to the county requirement that hard copies be marked and filed, I will not be accepting essays electronically. Students can use google drive or onedrive to type and save their essays, then print them at school if printing at home is an obstacle.

They will also be reviewing reading strategies covered so far, including using the plot diagram and the descriptive matrix.

Ms. Bosse - Math

Math 6 & Extended Math 6- Still working with fractions. I will be working in small groups with some students who are lacking some of the basic adding and subtracting fraction skills before we build on it by applying them to real world problems. We will quiz on word problems involving adding and subtracting on Thursday. By the end of next week we will begin multiplying and finish up November with multiplying and dividing fractions.

Mr. Cardone - Social Studies

Students have begun doing their presentations on their Native American tribe this week and they will continue next week. Study guides for the test were also distributed today and are due for lifework on Tuesday 11/17. We will test on Thursday.

Mr. Cardone - Science

Students will complete their virtual lab on chemical reactions on Monday, please remind them to bring headphones so they can listen to the audio portion of the lab. On Wednesday study guides will be distributed and we will test on Tuesday 11/24, the day that Science Fair proposal forms are due.
