District Vision & Mission

Be a district respected by others as a model of excellence in student achievement.

To prepare our students with exceptional character, knowledge, and skills to thrive in their changing world

From Mr. Soderberg

Hello SCC Families,

Well, we're off and running. Last week we welcomed our class of 2023 to high school with a day of fun, team building, making connections with upperclassmen, and a chance to meet our staff. According to the students, the day was informative, fun, and much worthwhile.

On Friday, August 30th we welcomed all students back to school. The day started with an all-school assembly which allowed us the opportunity to lay the foundation for a great year. We emphasized the uniquely supportive culture we enjoy at SCC and the importance of guarding that culture. Adults and students alike were reminded that we each have the power to choose how we treat each other. We each have the power to serve others, show empathy, and lift each other up. At SCC we want to turn those words into action.

For the second consecutive year, we are focused on three major areas critical to the overall excellence of our school. We set building goals around academic achievement, student climate, and adult culture. The goals will continue to drive what we do and keep us focused on the aspects of our school that make it a great place for everyone and a model of excellence.

As always, I look forward to working with our families, students, and staff to maximize our positive impact on student learning and personal growth.

Go Panthers,

Mr. Soderberg
