Required Parent-Athlete Presentation
Dear Parent/Guardian,
Parkway Athletics has created an online presentation in order to convey what we feel is pertinent and essential information regarding procedures and policies from both the Missouri State High School Activities Association (MSHSAA) and the Parkway School District. It is required that at least one parent/guardian view the presentation prior to any athlete being allowed to participate in a contest. The presentation will be in lieu of our annual Athletic Department meeting. While we enjoyed the personal touch of our in person athletic department meeting, we felt we were only reaching ¼ of our athletic population by delivering the message in that format. Our coaches are still expected to hold a team meeting to discuss specifics relating to their individual programs. We hope you find the information in this presentation useful and helpful.
For families with multiple students and/or multiple sports, you will only need to complete the video once per academic year. Be sure to include all necessary info on the completion form after watching the video.
You can access the video by going to www.pwestlonghorns.com, then to INFO AND DOCUMENTS, click on Required Parent-Athlete Presentation.
After completing the video, navigate back to the Info and Documents page and click on the Parent/Athlete Online Signature Page. It will take you to a Google form where you will verify your completion of the presentation along with the name(s) of your athlete(s) and which sports they might be playing. Thank you in advance for your time in watching our presentation. We cannot wait to see everyone on campus.
As Always, Go Horns!!!

How to Maintain MSHSAA Eligibility
Introduction
The Missouri State High School Activities Association (MSHSAA) is comprised of approximately 750 member schools, both public and private, across the state of Missouri. MSHSAA’s eligibility requirements have been voted on by the member schools and were adopted by your school when it became a MSHSAA member. Your school will also have local school requirements that you must comply with in order to be eligible.
Information contained on this page will acquaint you with the essential rules and regulations students and schools must follow in order to maintain and protect high school eligibility. No one requirement is more important than another. Any questions you have concerning these essential requirements or eligibility should be discussed with the school principal or athletic director. These administrators have copies of all MSHSAA eligibility requirements.
