WE NEED YOUR HELP!
We are still in need of volunteers to help at Santa Night next Friday evening! Volunteers will be helping with crafts, cookie decorating, games, and cocoa. Shifts are only 45 minutes. Parents, grandparents, family members and older siblings can sign up to help, too!
THANK YOU for sending in your Santa Night ticket orders! Pre-sales have now ended, but we will have a limited number of tickets available at the door for $10/each.
Reminder- Santa Night and Kids Only Shoppe are 2 separate events that happen on the same evening. KOS is an opportunity for students in grades K-5 to shop without their parents for (donated) items and have them gift wrapped before taking them home. The 6th graders run this event as a fundraiser, and parents wait outside! This event is not included in your Santa Night ticket- you will need to bring additional cash if your child plans to shop. Most items are priced below $10.
For questions or concerns, please email Krisi at krisicarter1@gmail.com

Kids Only Shoppe
Friday, December 9 (during Santa’s Night from 5:00-8:00 PM), 6th grade students will be hosting the Kids Only Shoppe for Dewey’s K-5th grade students. The purpose of the event is for students to earn money for their overnight trip to Westminster Woods.
What is the Kids Only Shoppe?
- We collect gently used items to sell.
- A “shoppe” is set up in a classroom and is open during Santa’s Night.
- 6th grade students help K-5th grade students shop the shoppe for Christmas gifts for their family members.
- 6th graders also help them wrap the gifts.
- No adults are allowed in the Kids Only Shoppe
- A flier went home before break to pre-purchase Shoppe bucks for kids to shop with. Items are priced between $1-$10.
We need to collect stuff!
- Any gently used item that you no longer want
- The more, the merrier
- NO clothing
- Now. Send it in now.
- We are also in need of gift wrap! Paper, tissue, bags, and tape. These items do not have to be new and all is appreciated!
- Thank you!
Parent Info Night for Prospective Dewey Families!
Know any families interested in attending Dewey next school year?? If so, let them know about our upcoming Parent Info Night on Wednesday, December 7, at 6 pm in the MP room. There will be a formal presentation along with a question and answer portion. Individual tours can be scheduled by calling the office at (916) 971-7020.
Shop With Raise Right!
Reminder! Next week, Dec. 12th, is the last day to order physical gift cards before we go on break. Of course, you can still order e-gift cards anytime. Don't forget E-gift cards make really great and easy gifts to send too. McDonalds is now available on Raise Right. They are still offering random bonuses on several retailers over the next few weeks. Check it out at Raiseright.com or come to the PFO meeting next week and I will answer any questions you have.
Our Lost-N-Found is Overflowing!
All items not picked up by Friday, December 9 will be donated.
