Traffic Circle and Student Drop-Off & Pick-Up
Parents, as a reminder, please use caution when driving in our traffic circle. The drop-off and pick-up area for students is in front of the front office by the yellow pillars. When using the traffic circle, please only turn from the outer lane. The car loop exit is the 2nd turn upon entering the traffic circle. Please pull all the way forward up to the car in front of you. Please drop your student off and pick them up by the yellow pillars. Dropping students off in the student parking lot, teacher parking lot, or bus loop is prohibited and creates a serious safety hazard. This creates such a hazard that we will be giving our disciplinary consequences to any student dropped off or picked up anywhere other than the car loop. There are three exceptions to this rule where you can reach out to Julieann Usry jusry@pasco.k12.fl.us or Robin Hawk rhawk@pasco.k12.fl.us for a special parking permit:
1. You have a student with an injury that requires more time for them to exit your vehicle safely.
2. You have a student driver with a learner's permit, and you need to switch seats with them after they drive to school or when you come to pick them up.
3. You are picking up a student for early release.
If you have any of these situations, please reach out to Robin Hawk or Julieann Usry for a special parking permit & instructions.
As a reminder, our front office closes at 3:30pm. All car riders must be picked up by 3:30pm.
