We would like to commend and support the work of The Community Partnership for Immigrant & Refugee Families, who have been working to ensure that the COVID 19 response messaging gets out to all of our international families.
The City of BG Coronavirus Response webpage now has information and resources translated into several of the primary languages that exist in Bowling Green and Warren County. BGJHS Recognizes our Oustanding 8th Grade Baseball Players
While the season didn't end the way we envisioned we wanted to take a moment to recognize the 2020 BGJHS 8th grade players. We are so proud of you and the leadership you have shown. Know that the faculty and staff at BGJHS looks forward to cheering and supporting you in the years to come.
"I know this isn't the season any of us had in mind. Make the most of this opportunity and let it instill in you a mindset to never take the game for granted. I look forward to seeing you guys on the field again soon."
- Coach Gilbert, Head Coach
"If anything, I was really looking forward to coaching these young men. A good group with a lot of talent and desire to play well. Polite, considerate, good sense of humor on the field as well as off. I’m hopeful I’ll get the opportunity next year to be the assistant. Miss all of you!"
-Coach Chenault, Asst Coach
"Although we are not going to have the opportunity to cheer this amazing group of young men on from the stands, we want to say thank you for always representing BGJHS and the Purple's Baseball program in a respectable manner. We know you will continue to work and grow as baseball players, and even more so, as young men. We were so fortunate to have your leadership throughout our hallways, and we look forward to cheering you on from the stands in the near future."
- Mr. Lightning, Principal
