What was the change?
Luther started to question the church.The more he questioned, the more he found out.At the end he found out that the pope were telling lies about the bible.He started a huge change by writhing the 95 theses.This note was posted on the front door of the catholic church.People saw this and they also started to think about what the popes have done.By this impact Luther started to gain followers,He became a huge threat to the church.Gained so many followers that they were called Lutherans,At the end they started a new religion.
Who were the people associated with the change?
Martin Luther:He posted the 95 Thesis on the door of the catholic church.Because of this he was excommunicated from the church.This gave him more thoughts of how the church treated people,So he established a new church and started a new religion.
Ulrich Zwingli:Helped spread Luther's new religion.Was a leader of a protestant group in Switzerland. Majorly supported to help spread Luther's new religion

How did the change impact society at the time?(short term effects)
People were very unhappy of the churches political and economic problems,so they started to follow Luther to give back revenge.By gaining more followers, they had ideas about driving the pope from his throne.They began to call themselves Lutherans.
How is that change seen in today's modern society?(long term effects)
Roman catholic church became move unified as a result from the catholic trends .His idea traveled through Europe,Africa,Asia, and the Americans. Also development of modern - nation states started to gain more power.
