The book fair begins on Monday, October 18th (more info to come).
Please fill out the attached character card and book information, cut out along the black lines to make each card. Participation is voluntary.
The project is to be done entirely at home. Students choosing to participate, must provide their own pumpkin and decorating materials.
Parents are welcome to stop by Norton Creek during school hours to view pumpkins in front of the school.
Dates to Remember:

Pumpkin Pick up – Pick up your pumpkin to take home at the end of the day on Wednesday, October 13th. Find your child’s pumpkin on parade in front of the school.
ABSOLUTELY NO CARVED PUMPKINS: Carved pumpkins rot, attract bugs and smell. You are welcome to use craft pumpkins.
Pumpkins may be decorated with markers or acrylic paint. Yarn, construction paper, feathers, pipe cleaners, etc. may also be used to decorate the pumpkin. Items can be attached using craft glue or tape.
Pumpkins should represent a favorite book character and should be accompanied with character cards and title cards. Pumpkins and books should be labeled with the student’s name and class. Please fill out the attached character card, cut along the black lines, and attach to your child’s pumpkin before pumpkin drop off. Although this is a family project, a majority of the work should be done by the student.
