Schedule Change Requests

We have been getting quite a few emails requesting a schedule change for next semester. Unfortunately, due to our building size and limited space, we cannot make changes at this time.

Please note the only changes that can be made is movement from regular to advanced classes and visa versa. These requests need to be made through after a discussion with your child's teachers and school counseling department.

Thank you for understanding!

Each year, the Fox C-6 School District recognizes members of our community (staff, students, parents, or community members) who exemplify the #FoxC6Strong commitment to the District's mission to motivate and inspire success in order to build a foundation for lifelong learning. The award is a small way to show our appreciation to those who have excelled in their pursuit of making Fox C-6 Schools the best it can be.

All Fox C-6 employees and community members are eligible to be nominated. Receiving a nomination alone should be recognized as a great achievement and I know there are many within our building and community who are worthy of being recognized. Building Chromebooks

Our building chromebooks are taking a beating. SMS uses more of the technology budget to fix chromebooks than any other building in our district, including the high schools.

To combat this, we are collecting all the chromebook carts this coming week and will have the technology department take them to the service center over our holiday break. We will no longer have chromebook carts full of chromebooks in the building.

NOTE: We are only collecting the building Chromebooks. School issued student Chromebooks will be able to be used in class and taken home each night. That will not change.

Each classroom will be given five chromebooks that will stay in the classroom for students to use if they forget to bring theirs to school. Students can only borrow a chromebook for that class period and will need to return them to their classroom teacher. Once those five classroom chromebooks are used up, there will not be any extras for the kids to borrow. Students will be given a paper copy of their work or will be responsible to complete the assignment as homework. SMS students will need to be responsible to bring their school issued chromebooks to school and have them fully charged every day.

If a student does not bring their chromebook to class and this becomes a consistent problem, teachers will write a discipline referral for students being unprepared for class. If the discipline referrals continue, school discipline will be given to the students.
