Westview Weekly
Success for all, whatever it takes!
Issue 20: January 4-8, 2016
While it was difficult trading in my pajama pants and t-shirt for dress pants and shirt and tie, I am delighted to be back! I am a creature of habit, and my routine is critical to feeling productive throughout the day. A 3-week hiatus from work (and anything production actually) and a newborn baby have really thrown a wrench in my daily routine, so I am enthused to return to work with each of you.
Just as I need my routine, so too do our students. Remember, Westview and your classroom are the only place that many of our kiddos find this. Even though they may look and feel a little sluggish today, I could see and hear the excitement of the students as they exited cars and entered the building today. This fills my heart with happiness, and I hope it does yours too.
As you go through this short week, remember to focus on reteaching and practicing our GRR expectations. After nearly 2 weeks removed from your daily procedures, the students will need extra "help" getting back in the groove. The PBIS team also has plans to help you with this process during the month of January.
I wish you many blessing this week as we settle back in. Please let me know if you need anything, as I am always here for you!
Smiles,
Brandyn
